DALI UNIVERSE
The Dali Universe at County Hall is London's'
newest and most innovative art experience, dedicated to over 500 original
works by the master Surrealist and self-publicist Salvador Dali.
This is
Europe's broadest and most important Dali exhibition, featuring all Dali's
favorite motifs alongside a stunning collection of less familiar lithographs,
drawings, jewelry, glass pieces and sculptures.
DALI
Particularly famous works on show include the
Persistence of memory, Profile of Time and the Mae West Lips Sofa
- a seminal classic of 1930's surrealism. Film buffs can also marvel at
the background Dali created for Hitchcock's Hollywood blockbuster, Spellbound.
With
a riverfront entrance next to the London Eye and only minutes from the South
Bank Centre, the Dali Universe forms part of County Hall Gallery, London's premier
arts and exhibition centre, and makes a unique day out for both long-time Dali
enthusiasts and those exposed to his amazing creations for the first time.
